As part of a new partnership, the entire catalog of TF1 and TF1+ is now accessible on Netflix.
Have you longed to binge the complete run of Sous le Soleil? To watch season 17 of Koh Lanta you missed in 2017? To revisit Tina Arena and Billy Crawford’s performances in the 8th live show of season 1 of the Star Academy? Or to see the alternate ending of Destin de Lisa? It’s now possible as of June 19 on Netflix.
For a long time, TV networks and streaming platforms were at odds, yet they’re continuing to move closer. Following the example of france.tv’s arrival (featuring France 2,France 3,France 4,France 5 and Franceinfo) on Prime Video in July 2025, TF1 signed a major partnership with Netflix last year to host the catalog of its VOD service directly on the platform, with no redirect to TF1+. You can even watch the TF1 group channels, including TF1 Films & Series, LCI, TMC, and TFX, live, without leaving Netflix’s interface.
FROM STRANGER THINGS TO A SECRET STORY
This unprecedented partnership makes more than 35,000 extra hours of content available to Netflix subscribers, blending seamlessly with the existing catalog. Now, Stranger Things sits alongside Joséphine Ange Gardien and Le bazar de la charité, and subscribers won’t have to pay extra. In fact, every title available is preceded by ads, even for Premium subscribers. TF1+ content will not differ from Netflix’s content and can therefore appear in the weekly top 10, influence personalized recommendations, and show up in the interface’s “My List” tab.
Among these 35,000 hours are a ton of films: Radin, Dirty Dancing, Didier, Five, Les sous-doués, Ennemis Jurés, La Crypte du Dragon, Super, Tout sauf toi, not to mention must-see TV movies like Titanic II. There are also plenty of series, some with a hefty nostalgia factor: Degrassi, Wildfire, Coeur Ocean, Les routes du paradis, Riptide, Les dessous de Palm Beach, Rick Hunter, 21 jump Street, Madame est servie, Hélène et les Garçons, Le Miel et les abeilles, Premiers baisers, Cordier juge et flic…
You’ll also find the soap operas Demain nous appartient, Camping Paradis, Ici tout commence, Plus Belle la Vie, Les feux de l’amour, Abîmes de la passion… Recent productions will also be there, such as Cat’s Eyes or the new season of Zodiaque (and the earlier 2004 episodes with Claire Keim).
And because it’s entertainment in the broad sense, Netflix will host the channel’s game and reality shows (The Voice, Star Academy, Danse avec les Stars), as well as game shows and reality programs (Koh Lanta, Secret Story, Les Anges de la téléréalité, La Bataille des couples, Super Nanny, Escape Island), documentaries (about Parc Astérix or Whitney Houston), or even news programs like the 1 PM and the 8 PM news, 50 Minutes Inside, Sept à Huit… The live option will allow following future sporting events (Nation’s Championship, France national team matches) or debates ahead of the 2027 presidential election.
This huge deal is, of course, aimed at reaching younger audiences who may not be in the habit of watching traditional television, while Netflix can reel back in linear-TV aficionados, typically older. However, the duration of the partnership has not been specified.
